Latest updates from ongoing large-scale UK-funded AM R&D initiatives
In keeping with previous years, the Additive International Summit will host a “pre-summit” day that focuses specifically on Additive Manufacturing R&D activity within the UK, where there continues to be a vibrant community working on cutting edge research and development and deployment into industry.
With a focus on largescale initiatives, this year’s event will present the very latest updates on the exciting research that is being undertaken within both the UK science and industrial bases, which are being enabled by funding from EPSRC, InnovateUK and industry.
Bringing together leading speakers from the UK community, this workshop will cover a range of material systems including relevant to polymeric, metallic and multi-material additive manufacturing and will present the potential that these new approaches will have to a range of sectors from aerospace through to the electronics and pharmaceutical industries.
